A Mechanical Protection Plan (Extended Warranty) is included with every Used Vehicle purchase. Warranty commences upon delivery of your vehicle (or expiry of any Manufacturer’s New Vehicle Warranty, if later) and applies until three years after first delivery of your vehicle. You'll have real peace of mind knowing you're covered. Conditions apply. Vehicle must be serviced regularly by Westpoint Ford and some parts are excluded. Statutory Warranty
The statutory warranty applicable to the sale of all Used Vehicles is 3 months or 5000kms. Should you experience any concerns with your vehicle during this period please contact our Service Department. If your vehicle still has any period of Ford Manufacturer’s warranty applicable then the same booking in procedures applies
Buyers Guide
Used Vehicle Delivery Procedures:
If you have purchased Aftermarket or Accessory items, please allow a minimum of 3 working days for us to prepare and fit these to your vehicle. You will as a matter of courtesy receive a phone call from our Delivery Manager to confirm when your vehicle is ready.
Taking Delivery of your Vehicle:
On the day of delivery please make sure you arrive at the agreed appointment time. If you are running late please contact your Salesperson or our Delivery Manager on 9749 6444 or email so we can ensure we are available when you arrive. The full delivery process will generally take around 40 minutes and includes an introduction to our Service and Parts Departments.
If you are paying by Bank cheque please make it payable to Westpoint Ford. Personal or Company cheques are not accepted unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. If you are paying for your vehicle via a funds transfer or EFT then we will need confirmation of a funds transfer before delivery can proceed.
If you are financing with Westpoint Ford, please ensure you have brought in all relevant paperwork that may have been requested. If you are using outside Finance, please ensure you have a copy of the Remittance Advice with you in case there is any issue with clear funds to our Account. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is paid for in full prior to your delivery date. We cannot deliver your vehicle unless payment in full has been made and confirmed.
