NEW VEHICLE DELIVERY
Cars in Stock
If the vehicle you have purchased is already in stock at the Dealership then please allow a minimum of 3 working days for delivery preparation. This can vary depending on the accessories that need to be fitted but 3 days is generally sufficient time to allow us to prepare your vehicle to your specifications. You will as a matter of courtesy receive a call to confirm when your vehicle is ready. Please keep in mind that if you are financing with us the 3 working days will not commence until the finance is approved. If the finance is external, we cannot start preparing your vehicle until we receive an invoice request from your selected Financial Institution. If you are paying by Company or Bank cheque, EFT or direct transfer then preparation of the vehicle will commence after the statutory cooling off period has expired.
Cars not in Stock
If the vehicle you have purchased is not currently in our stock, please allow up to 48 hours for our Stock Controller to locate your vehicle. Once we have located the appropriate vehicle, you will be given an estimated date of arrival. Your salesperson will keep you updated on the progress of your vehicle from this point. When your new vehicle does arrive, please allow us 3 working days to get the vehicle prepared correctly. Please note that transit/shipping times for imported vehicles can vary and are outside the Dealerships control. Please do not hesitate to contact your salesperson during this period if you have any queries or concerns.
Taking Delivery of your New Vehicle
On the day of delivery please make sure you arrive at the agreed appointment time. If you are running late please contact your salesperson or our Delivery Manager on 9749-6444 so we can ensure we are available when you arrive. The full delivery process will generally take around 40 minutes and includes an introduction to our Service and Parts Departments .If you are paying by Bank cheque, please make it payable to Westpoint Ford. Personal or Company cheques are not accepted unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. If you are paying for your vehicle via a funds transfer or EFT then we will need confirmation of a funds transfer before delivery can proceed If you are financing with Westpoint Ford, please ensure you have brought in all relevant paperwork that may have been requested. If you are using outside Finance, please ensure you have a copy of the Remittance Advice with you in case there is any issue with clear funds to our Account. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is paid for in full prior to your delivery date. We cannot deliver your vehicle unless payment in full has been made and confirmed.
